Indian Creek Trail

This is the eye of the needle and the hikers destination.  Indian Creek Trail stops way before this rock formation.  But the trail actually follows up a river bed valley so you can walk past the trail’s end and never realize it.  It gets rocky the further up you go.  In fact you have to scale up some rather large boulders to make it to the top.

People Warning

City folk in sedans will have a hard time getting to this place.  The road is rugged and steep in places.  The dirt road doesn’t look to bad from Google Earth.  No switchbacks and almost a straight shot from the paved road to the campground.  A small car with a really short wheel base was parked at the trail head.  Perhaps he made it through with a spotter.  Or maybe when he gets home he figures out that the tail pipe was ripped out from under his car.
