El Paso to Telluride

I often wonder what the Spanish travelers thought when they journeyed through this land 2 and 3 hundred years ago. 

It was a beautiful sunrise at the Great Sand Dunes after driving late into the night to get there.  You see people as tiny dots on the dunes then as your walking up you become one of them.  Cold in the mountains at night once we got to the Matterhorn Campground.
